I did not send this letter out to you months ago because I did not want the people I was writing deluged with mail. I wanted them to have the time to work out our problem quietly and in their own way. However, now it is painfully evident that they don't give a rat's a... about us and deserve to have their officies deluged with mail from all of you who care to write. I sent the same letter to about 40 or 50 Senators and Representatives of the Democratic persuasion betwween January 20th and early May. The only thing I might be able to claim it accomplished was the firing of a very high level NASA official. There are two subCommittees in the House which can handle matters which require access to classified documents. It is very interesting that somehow both of these subCommittees are headed by the same man--Congressman John Tierney of Massachusetts. I think you should absolutely communicate your sorrows to him because he is blocking a real investigation in the House of Representatives. Tierney E-Alert: New Online Office

As I have said before, there are two subcommittees in the House which have access to classified information, if necessary, to conduct investigations. Both of them, strangely enough, are now headed by the same man--John F. Tierney of Massachusetts. By virtue of his chairmanships, Mr. Tierney is able to block any investigation in those subcommittees which offends his sense of propriety, and his willingness to sell his soul to further his career. Mr. Tierney has now opened an email office, whatever that is, and you can read about it below and communicate your frustration to him.

Truly religious people who think for themselves are making connections between the violations of our privacy and some of their Biblical warnings.

While we don't all agree on Bible issues, we do agree that it's as valid a concern for us as it is for them that we NEVER see the day when the government can basically "erase" our existence by making it impossible for us to buy anything if they "cut off" our money supply through this chip.

This is very dangerous and its implications go far beyond these four or five sentences. It is another great reason why Ron Paul is as much the logical candidate for anyone who considers themselves religious as someone, like me, who doesn't. We must work together.

Taser electric stun guns are being made available to hundreds more police in England and Wales from today.

Police officer with taser: Fears grow over taster expansion
Tasers deliver powerful electric shocks

Officers with little or no firearms training will be able to use the 50,000 volt devices to defend themselves or the public in situations of extreme violence – even if aggressors are not armed.

The move is part of a year-long trial across 10 forces.

It has been opposed by human rights groups, notably Amnesty International, on the grounds that the guns can be lethal.
